Michael Stokes is the DAC Stained Glass Adviser to the Diocese of Sheffield. He established MDS Stained Glass in Nottinghamshire in 1985. Since then, MDS has carried out over 100 new ecclesiastical stained glass window commissions, including 13 Chancel East windows.

The majority of this work is located in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and across the East Midlands. Although, other areas of the country have received new commissions, including Lancashire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and London.
